Information Solutions:
IDS IS is a full-service IT organization that enables growth of the IDS business by working with our customers to develop innovative technology solutions. IDS IS functional areas include Site Operations and Services, Telecommunications Technology, Information Services, Business Applications, Office Automation, and Architecture and Infrastructure services.

The Integrated Information Security and Analysis (IISA) Team is looking for an Information System Security Technologist to join our new and expanding DoD Information Assurance Compliance group. The position will report directly to the IISA Team Lead in support of multiple classified programs. The selected candidate will work with program staffs to ensure approved implementation of various DoD IA controls

Primary responsibilities include:
  • Interfacing with program managers and DoD customers to define and implement a given set of DoD Information Assurance and Security controls.
  • Acting as the point of contact (POC) to a high level, multi-function team in support of applied DoD IA controls
  • Acting as primary resource control and interpreter for multiple DoD Standard Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG's)
  • Facilitating and coordinating IA related hardware/software change control meetings
  • Creating and meticulously maintaining the entire IA system documentation and content related to policies, procedures, controls, and Chance Control Board
  • Monitoring and tracking all IA related activity across multiple classified programs, internal, external and customer audits. Track remediation, share best practices and ensure appropriate DoD assessments are in place.
  • Testing and validating system based on DoD approved methods for expected customer defined results.
  • Developing and maintaining trend analyses, metrics and reports.

This position should be located at any Raytheon Facility in the northeastern region of Massachusetts .

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
  • BS/BA Engineering, Computer Science, IT Management, or equivalent experience, and 6+ years applicable experience.
  • Knowledge of Control Objectives for Information and related Technology (COBIT).
  • Familiar with general computer controls requirements for supporting the DIACAP.
  • Experience in heterogeneous OS environment to include Linux, Unix, Windows.
  • Familiarity of C&A certification and accreditation methodologies
  • Secret Clearance
  • Professional and articulate demeanor

Desired Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
  • CISSP or other equivalent security related, industry recognized certification
  • Knowledge of SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle)
  • Experience with Raytheon classified systems
  • Familiar with six sigma, audit processes and compliance
  • Extensive experience with the Microsoft Office Suite
